Surprises and Miracles

So most people know that I am not one to get blown away easily by situations. I am used to the crazy unusual circumstances that the majority don't ever have to deal with in life and I roll with it. Life is better when it's crazy enough to laugh about and that's normally what I do. A few Sundays ago though I was shocked. I handed my cousins Sam and Jesse a support letter so they would be updated about Evan and I going on the trip to Texas. This was not the shocking part though. That came a week later when Evan handed me an envelop with a check from them for their entire tithing amount for the month and almost a 3rd of what I needed to raise. WOW! It doesn't stop there because that's not even the coolest part. It makes sense that if you give someone a support letter that they might think to support you but where God stepped in was even before I gave them the letter. What Sam told me later on was that an hour before I gave her the letter, and honestly probably before Evan and I even printed the letter, was she and Jesse were discussing and praying about what to do with their tithe money this month and here I come walking up to them at church with a letter asking for support.
If I ever questioned God's orchestration skills in my life, I definitely shouldn't now. He knows the moments that will make an impact on me for good and though there is someone out to kill, steal, and destroy that joy, for a little while it was impossible because my God is so much bigger. God is still able to shock me with His greatness and for that I am grateful.
Thank you to Sam and Jesse who listened to the voice of God about what to do and even if it had been a dollar with that story I would have been been just as happy because God showed up!

Texas Here We Come!!!

Hello Bronkema Supporters :)

We are going to TEXAS!!! Corpus Christi to be exact. This is an amazing opportunity for Evan and I that we get to go on a trip together and do something to give back to people that live on the opposite end of America and having to deal with losing everything which I can't and don't even want to imagine.
Evan gets to co-lead this trip as a pastor at Alive Ministries and this being his first time in that role it will be stretching and a time for him to shine as the amazing leader that he is. I'm excited for him and even as his big sister I have no problems taking orders and looking up to him on the trip and now.
Personally I love Texas and the coast is beautiful and completely different than our northern, surrounded by lakes, 4 seasons state of Michigan.
I wanted to make this blog as a way for people to check in while we are there but also leading up to the trip because that is the part that I love being a part of as a supporter.
That being said a huge prayer request will be for team unity as we get closer to going. It is already hot in MI and thinking about spending a week with people in a southern state with humidity and working can be intimidating. We will have to have the strength and peace that only comes from God in order to get through without pushing each others buttons :)

Thank You For Your Support!
