So most people know that I am not one to get blown away easily by situations. I am used to the crazy unusual circumstances that the majority don't ever have to deal with in life and I roll with it. Life is better when it's crazy enough to laugh about and that's normally what I do. A few Sundays ago though I was shocked. I handed my cousins Sam and Jesse a support letter so they would be updated about Evan and I going on the trip to Texas. This was not the shocking part though. That came a week later when Evan handed me an envelop with a check from them for their entire tithing amount for the month and almost a 3rd of what I needed to raise. WOW! It doesn't stop there because that's not even the coolest part. It makes sense that if you give someone a support letter that they might think to support you but where God stepped in was even before I gave them the letter. What Sam told me later on was that an hour before I gave her the letter, and honestly probably before Evan and I even printed the letter, was she and Jesse were discussing and praying about what to do with their tithe money this month and here I come walking up to them at church with a letter asking for support.
If I ever questioned God's orchestration skills in my life, I definitely shouldn't now. He knows the moments that will make an impact on me for good and though there is someone out to kill, steal, and destroy that joy, for a little while it was impossible because my God is so much bigger. God is still able to shock me with His greatness and for that I am grateful.
Thank you to Sam and Jesse who listened to the voice of God about what to do and even if it had been a dollar with that story I would have been been just as happy because God showed up!
